HOUSTON, Feb 28, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) –Continuing its emphasis on high availability solutions, Texas Memory Systems today unveiled its new RamSan-820 Flash-based storage system. The RamSan-820 (24-TB) offers the same high availability features as the RamSan-720 (12-TB), but gives users an eMLC alternative for applications requiring lower cost or higher capacity. Both systems are designed from the ground up with a foundational design to mitigate the effects of component ilures and will continue to operate in the event of any single component ilure. The RamSan-820 is the companys second eMLC product offering and is based upon the latest release of the RamSan operating system.
